Custom Coasters

December 2, 2025 - Anniversary Coaster Set

Finished up a set of personalized anniversary coasters today. These were made as a custom order featuring the couple's wedding date and names - a meaningful keepsake that's also functional.

The Design

Each coaster features:

Front side: Wedding date in elegant script lettering, V-carved for crisp detail and filled with black epoxy
Back side: Decorative border pattern with rounded corners
Material: Cherry wood with a warm, rich finish

The set comes with a matching wooden holder that keeps all the coasters organized and displays them beautifully when not in use.

The Process

Two-sided machining workflow:

Machine the back border pattern first
Flip and align using registration pins
V-carve the custom lettering on the front
Cut out the final rounded-square shape

The toolpath template makes it easy to customize the text for each order while keeping all the machining parameters dialed in.
